Privacy Notice

Devahname ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This notice explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data.
1. Data Controller
Devahname is a service operated by PROPSNAP CO., LTD. (บริษัท พร็อพสแนป จำกัด), registered in Thailand (reg. no. 0105567192818), 6 Soi Ekkachai 76, Khwaeng Khlong Bang Phran, Khet Bang Bon, Bangkok 10150 ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. For any privacy enquiry, contact us at mike@propsnap.co.
2. What We Collect
When you use the free name checker, we collect (only if you consent): your social-media profile name, date of birth, and gender. After purchase, we additionally collect your real name(s) in Thai and/or English, your nickname(s), your preferred name language, and — optionally — a favourite idol you provide, plus your email address so we can deliver your reading. We also collect technical and usage data — grade results, page views, clicks, device type, and analytics identifiers — through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
3. Purpose
We use your data to: (a) run the name analysis you requested; (b) process your payment and deliver paid readings; (c) improve our service and the accuracy of our naming science; and (d) — where you have given consent — contact you with name-related guidance or offers. To do these things we share data with the service providers listed in section 6.
4. Legal Basis
For the name analysis shown on the page: performance of the contract you requested. For storing your submission and sending you marketing follow-ups: your explicit opt-in consent, given by actively ticking the consent box (un-ticked by default) on the /check form. For analytics and advertising cookies: your consent via our cookie banner. For aggregated, de-identified analytics used to improve the service: our legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 9).
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, and — only with your consent — analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the site is used (page views, clicks, device type, heatmaps) and advertising cookies (the Meta and TikTok pixels) to measure and improve our ads. These analytics and advertising cookies do not run until you accept them via our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. We do not record keystrokes or session replays on forms that contain personal data.
6. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to deliver the service: our payment provider, Beam (operated by Beam Data Co., Ltd., Thailand), to process payments; our hosting and database provider to store your data; our analytics provider (PostHog); our advertising providers, Meta (Facebook) and TikTok, which receive limited event data via their pixels to measure and optimise our advertising; our email provider to deliver readings; our background-processing provider to run name generation; and an AI model provider that receives the names you submit in order to generate recommendations. 7. International Data Transfers
Some of the service providers in section 6 — for example our analytics, advertising, hosting, and AI providers — are located outside Thailand, so your personal data may be transferred abroad. (Your payment is handled by Beam, a Thailand-based provider.) Where we transfer data internationally, we put in place appropriate safeguards as permitted under section 28 of the PDPA — specifically, data-processing agreements with each provider that require them to protect your data to a standard consistent with the PDPA. 8. Retention
We keep submission data you have consented to for 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is deleted. Payment and order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. De-identified analytics data may be kept indefinitely.
9. Your Rights
Under the PDPA you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent at any time. Email mike@propsnap.co to exercise any of these rights; we will respond within the timeframe required by law (generally within 30 days).
10. Children
The service is intended for users aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without such consent; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact mike@propsnap.co and we will delete it.
11. Data Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data and restrict access to those who need it to provide the service. If a data breach affecting your rights occurs, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Committee and, where required, you, in line with the PDPA.
